Ferrari lavede årets motor 2018

Her er årets bedste motor 2018

 

2018 International Engine of the Year er netop blevet kåret, og det blev Ferraris dobbeltturbo 3.9-liter V8.  

“I 488 GTB satte motoren barren så højt, at den fejede konkurrenterne til side, og med den videreudviklede version i 488 Pista blev verdens bedste motor bare endnu bedre. Det er ingeniørarbejde i verdensklasse,” lød det fra juryen bag kåringen. 

Ferrari selv siger, at det er den mest kraftfulde V8-motor i fabrikkens historie. 

Den yder 711 hestekræfter, og det sender Pista fra stående til 100 km/t. på imponerende 2,85 sekunder og til 200 km/t. på7,6 sekunder. Topfarten er 340 km/t. 

Ferraris supermotor fik ved afstemingen 486 point fra de 68 jurymedlemmer, Porsches 3-liter turbomotor fik 198 point og en anden Ferrari-motor, 6,5 liter V12’eren i 812 Superfast, tog tredjepladsen med 158 point.
